Food Heaven
We at Corner Lodge Care Home, pride ourselves on offering our residents alongside their Loved One a great choice of Meals, Snack and Drinks and Home-baked Cakes/Desserts. Our Home Manager Millie believes that food and drink are the absolute backbone of the Care Home. Mealtimes here are a protected time. They bring everyone together socially and we encourage family members to come along to enjoy a meal with their loved ones. Our staff members also dine with the residents which encourages them to eat their meals. For Residents with Dementia, we understand that residents dont also want to sit down and eat a full meal, therefore there are plenty of 'on the move' snacks and drinks available all day.

Dining Experience
Our dedicated Catering Team offer only the best fresh food for our residents. The attention to detail is second to none.
When there is a special event at the Care Home, we go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is catered for.
We try and offer the'fine dining' experience at every mealtime to ensure that mealtimes are enjoyable and special. Tables are laid to high standards of presentation and the dining room has a special ambience with music playing in the background.
Hydration
Hydration is a main focus for us, good hydration prevents falls in the elderly.
We have the Corner Lodge bar where residents can feel free to get a beverage of their choice whenever they please. However, the drinks trolley is always around the home with tasty milkshakes, teas, Coffees. ice cream floats and on special occasions such as 'Gentlemans Club' you will find a beer or two!
Special Events
At Corner Lodge, we love to throw a party or two each year, from celebrating the King's Birthday to Valentine's Day. Or, just because we fancy a party! And of course the food goes hand in hand with this.
Most recently we celebrated Chinese New Year with a special Chinese themed menu, and in the future we plan to do many other themed food months such Indian, Italian, Mexican and Caribbean.
This gets the taste buds of our residents tingling with experiencing different varieties of food from different cultures.
